  1. 1. Sign the Code of Ethics(5 min)

    Sign the Code of Ethics and candidate agreements in your CompTIA account. This must be done every year before CEUs can be processed or fees paid.

  2. 2. Choose your renewal path(Varies)

    Complete a CertMaster CE course, pass the latest version of the Security+ exam, pass a qualifying higher-level certification, or earn 50 CEUs from approved activities.

  3. 3. Pay outstanding CE fees(10 min)

    If renewing with CEUs, pay the CE fee before uploading additional CEUs and no later than your expiration date.

  4. 4. Upload your remaining CEUs(30 min)

    Submit documentation for each qualifying activity in your CompTIA account before your three-year cycle ends.

  5. 5. Update KeepMyCert(2 min)

    Once CompTIA confirms your renewal, update the expiration date in KeepMyCert so future reminders stay accurate.
